OPHELIA · LILY · REVIVE YOUR BELOVED
Some love is kept,
not lost.
Frost holds a thing exactly as it was. Tell me who you lost, and I will build them a winter that never takes them from you.
By hand, for one person
You tell me who they were
A name, an era, the way you were parted. However much or little you can bear to write. It is read by the maker alone.
I build the world by hand
Its own light, its own hand, its own weather — a palette, a typography, a loading ritual and a living backdrop shaped around your story alone. Weeks, not hours.
It comes to you first
Your private version arrives with your dedication in it, exactly as you wrote it, with the art files to keep. Then it goes out into the world — and a share of what it earns comes back to you.
- Three faces — her two weathers, and him
- A world of your own, shaped end to end around your story
- All three, free forever, on your phone
- 30% of net proceeds on each, for as long as they sell
Read this first
Your world is later sold to others. After it is delivered to you, it is released into the Ophelia app as a purchasable world. It is free for everyone for its first 7 days — at half price during that week — and then it costs $4.99, like every other commissioned face.
You are told this before you pay, because it is why the price is the price. A commission does not cover the cost of building a world by hand. Selling it afterwards is how that cost is recovered, and it is what keeps the commission at $999 instead of several times that.
You receive 30% of net proceeds — of what Google Play actually pays out for your world, after its fee, refunds and taxes — for as long as it sells. Quarterly, with a statement.
Your beloved's name never goes public. Every real name and identifying detail is removed or changed before release. What survives into the public world is the mood, the palette, the era, the light — the art, not the person. The named version, with your dedication exactly as you wrote it, is yours and no one else's.
The full terms are in the Terms and the Privacy Policy, and a signed commission agreement is sent before any work begins. If any of this does not sit right with you, please don't commission a world — the app, the reading and the story stay open to you regardless.
Tell me who they were
Nothing here is published, ever. It is read by the maker alone, and used only to build your world.
It is on its way
Your story has reached the wanderer. He answers every one himself — give him a little time.
